ILM have to match the realism that Benjamin Button has achieved, though the performance issues are not nearly as complicated.

With Mark Chu as animation supe I am confident they will pull it off.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37846398.post-18326271094821749702009-02-09T05:29:00.000-08:002009-02-09T05:29:00.000-08:00In terminator 4 they're trying to render a cg Arno...In terminator 4 they're trying to render a cg Arnold, or am i wrong?

If it will be done well, terminator could have a bigger chance than star trek for 2009 vfx oscar.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37846398.post-56747263521565461842009-02-09T02:20:00.000-08:002009-02-09T02:20:00.000-08:00Yes, very good. I guess most of ILM staff are on this show or Terminator right now. They seem to be the only films ILM have this year. Trek and Potter were for last year so already finished.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37846398.post-84518567357751359612009-02-07T16:56:00.000-08:002009-02-07T16:56:00.000-08:00The VFX look absolutely stupendous! Even though people won't be looking at the cars in the movie.

As I said in the Star Trek article, my predictions for the 2009 VFX Oscar are:

"Avatar"
"Star Trek"
"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"

Come on "Transformers", come on!!!!TylerMiragehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09047553975841522030noreply@blogger.com
