3D should just be used to enhance an already good film. It's like icing on a cake or a cherry on top. They(studios) are just using this 3D thing so they can charge more for tickets. It'll be abused, people will think of it as a gimmick, and it will largely go away....except for the big name filmmakers who have been converted to 3D for the rest of their careers.

I don't think 3D is going to take off any more than it took off in the '50s. Hell, I thought "Avatar" was just as good in 2D.
All I know is I won't be impressed with 3D until you don't need the glasses.
